The Dove Inn offers a spacious lounge for both casual dining and special events. Enjoy locally roasted Barista coffee, breakfast, and lunch options, with plenty to choose from.

Alongside breakfast service, we bake fresh every day, offering a good selection of homemade cakes and scones that are highly recommended by our customers.

OPENING TIMES

We are open 7 days per week. We publish opening times, but we strongly advise that you book a table, or call us if you are planning to pop in. The number is 01986 511387.

Please note! If we have no bookings, to safeguard our energy and to remain financially viable, 

we will close the kitchen early.

Monday, Wednesday & Friday
Our kitchen is open from 9.30am - 2pm to close by 3pm

NEW and by popular demand - Friday 5.30pm - 7.30pm eat in or take away FISH & CHIPS

NEW - Tuesday 9.30am - 1pm for coffee, cake and toasties

NEW - Thursday 9.30 - 1pm coffee, cake and toasties

Tuesday's and Thursday's are restricted menu as Sonya, who is the boss and the main cook must have 2 days in the week to manage all other elements of the business outside of the kitchen!

Saturday & Sunday 

Our kitchen is open from 8.30am - 2pm with dessert requests until 2.30pm and close by 3pm

If we are hosting an event on a Saturday evening, we take advanced bookings for food from 5pm - 7.30pm.

The bar will be open for any event that is advertised, counter food (cakes, crisps & scones) 

are available and the kitchen will re-open if we have enough response.

Relax on our outdoor terrace or explore our acre of beautiful gardens, with plenty of seating for guests.

In addition to our core menu, we offer a daily specials board and host food-related events. Whether you’re planning a small party or a large gathering, we provide tailored catering services, including buffets for weddings, events, and special occasions.

The Dove Inn is family friendly, and dogs are welcome in the service area of the café and in the garden.

Our bar is open from 11am (12 noon on a Sunday) until end of service during the day, then open again for all evening events and private hire.

The bar will be open for all of our events and all private hire bookings, with license until midnight.

We also serve a wide selection of zero-and low-alcohol choices. We have also introduced a range of nu-tropic mocktails and larger so that you can experience the 'first sip feeling' without alcohol. 

​

We are a small but very dedicated team. Booking a table helps us with planning and is appreciated. Walk ins are welcome, but please be aware that booked tables will be prioritised with service. 

​

Please be kind to our staff if we are busy and things are taking a little longer than expected, 

this will be because we were unable to predict our popularity and have to prioritise bookings and access to our equipment. Certain food and drinks take longer to prepare. We believe that you would rather it be fresh. Be assured that we will all be working very hard to serve you. ​
